These disclaimers support Chicago Auto Pros policy of being transparent and are meant to promote a better understanding with our customers.

 

CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS

  • Please clear all personal items from the vehicle before appointments. Chicago Auto Pros will not accept any liability for any loss or damage to any personal property including the vehicle being serviced, or any belongings contained inside of the vehicle. Chicago Auto Pros will not be held responsible for any lost items.

  • Child car seat(s) should be removed prior to the appointment. We take your family’s safety seriously and are not experts in re-installing child seats to meet specifications.

  • Customers are required to turn off dash cams and shall not record any shop operations

  • On check-in, we ask our customers to identify and point out any existing body damage, components or parts that were already broken or in a condition about to fail before the service begins.

  • The owner verifies that they will maintain insurance on all vehicles and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless from any loss, liability, theft, damage or cost that may occur while vehicle is being transferred or on our premises.

 

MARKETING ACTIVITIES

  • Customer cars may appear in our marketing videos. You hereby give us permission to take photos and use any images for marketing purposes.

 

DISCLAIMERS

Please note, in addition to the above, Chicago Auto Pros is not liable or responsible for:

  • In the unlikely event that we damage your vehicle we will repair any damage caused solely by us, using a method determined by Chicago Auto Pros in its sole discretion, and the customer agrees not to post any negative comments or reviews online. Customer acknowledges and agrees that in no event shall Chicago Auto Pros be liable for any diminished returns on your car and customer hereby waives any claim for such damages.

  • For unseen or hidden conditions that might be highlighted once our detailing services are completed. (Such as dings, dents, scratches, etc.)

  • For malfunction or breakage of any of the vehicle’s mechanical/electrical/electronic/personal entertainment components. (Such as convertible tops, stereos, sunroof assemblies, check engine lights, brakes, etc.)

  • For loose/broken/damaged parts during the work process (including, without limitation, plastic trim pieces, antennas, mirrors, bug guards, chrome trim, spoilers, wipers, etc.)

  • For promises, guaranties or verbal agreements not declared in a written work order.

  • Nature incidents or acts of God.

  • Cars left overnight or after working hours including, without limitation, towing, theft or accidents.

 

If you have any particular concern, question or request, please let us know before we start working on your car.

Please also check your car before you leave the premises as we cannot be responsible for any damage that occurs after you leave our shop.
